Lady in the Straw Hat. Oil on 220gsm A3 paper. |
My
interpretation of the painting finished in 1910 of 'Lady in Yellow
Straw Hat' by Alexej Georgewitsch von Jawlensky
(13 March 1864 – 15 March 1941) a Russian expressionist painter
active in Germany. I liked the bold lines and simple colours used,
almost a childlike simplicity. I hope you agree e that I have
captured that simplicity.
